The perfect habitat for the thresher shark

The Philippines is an archipelago comprising a labyrinth of 7,107 islands, which are geographically classified into the regions of Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao, and are home to an estimated population of 102 million people.

Many have considered it to be the place in the world with the greatest biodiversity. In the Visayas area is the island of Cebu, where the expedition will take place. Near the capital, we find the Copton peninsula. At the beginning of our trip we will travel to this area to dive on the beautiful coast of Moalboal.

Itinerary

ITINERARY

Day 1 (5th December, Saturday)

Arrival in Cebu, transfer from the airport to Kasai Village Dive Resort.

Days 2 and 3 (6th and 7th December)

Days dedicated to diving in Moalboal. With a total of 6 dives.

Day 4 (8th December, Tuesday)

At the agreed time transfer to Malapascua and check-in at Ocean Vida Beach & Dive Resort.

Days 5 to 7 (9th to 11th December)

There will be nine dives on the island of Malapascua at its most iconic sites, such as Kimud Shoal and Gato Island.

Day 8 (12th December, Saturday)

Early morning check-out, transfer from Malapascua to Cebu and return to Spain.
End of services provided.

All transfers during the trip.
3 nights’ accommodation at Kasai Village Dive Resort. Half-board.
4 nights’ accommodation at Ocean Vida Beach & Dive Resort. Full board.
2 days’ diving in Moalboal (3 dives per day).
3 days’ diving in Malapascua (3 dives per day).
12-litre tanks, weights and an experienced guide.
Travel and diving insurance.

Accommodation

KASAI VILLAGE DIVE RESORT

Kasai Village Dive Resort is situated in Moalboal, 60 metres from Basdiot Beach, and offers accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The resort is 28 km from Kawasan Falls. It features a bar and a private beach area. The resort provides room service, a tourist information desk and a luggage storage facility.

The rooms at Kasai Village Dive Resort feature free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms offer sea views. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a desk.

OCEAN VIDA BEACH & DIVE RESORT

Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort is situated on Bounty Beach, Malapascua, and has 20 rooms with sea or garden views. It offers a range of dining options, from a restaurant and beach bar to private or romantic dinners on the beach.

The resort features sea-front relaxation areas, surrounded by palm trees and white sandy beaches, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy the island.
