The Revillagigedo Archipelago, better known as “Socorro”, is located about 250 nautical miles south of Cabo San Lucas, in Baja California. This archipelago is made up of 4 islands, and diving is concentrated on three of them: San Benedicto, Socorro and Roca Partida.

The complete isolation of this archipelago in the middle of the Pacific has favoured the concentration of a great marine life that has turned it into one of the must-see diving destinations on the planet, comparable only to the Galapagos (in fact, the islands are also known as the “Mexican Galapagos” or the “little Galapagos”) or Cocos Island, for the encounters with pelagic and large marine species, including a great variety of up to seven species of sharks (hammerheads, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, whitetip sharks, silvertip sharks, Pacific longimanus sharks, tiger sharks), giant Pacific manta rays (especially on San Benedicto Island, the best place in the world to enjoy these animals), humpback whales (from January to April) and dolphins. We must not forget the whale sharks and the large schools of carangids and tuna, as well as endemic species that can only be seen in Revillagigedo.

ROCIO DEL MAR

The Rocío Del Mar is approximately 34 metres long and 8 metres wide, and can accommodate up to 20 divers in 10 cabins: 2 with double beds and bunk beds, 2 with double beds and 6 with two separate single beds. All cabins have air conditioning, private bathroom, shower, carpet and windows throughout the room with curtains for privacy, as well as storage under the beds and a safe for valuables. The boat offers ample areas to relax between dives, such as a lounge, covered deck and dining room designed to minimise movement during meals. Its 200-tonne steel hull and high-efficiency engines ensure smooth and quiet sailing, while the deep V-shaped design and knuckle bow help break the waves.

All meals and refreshments are included, starting with continental and American breakfast, followed by a hearty lunch after the second dive, mid-afternoon snacks, and three-course dinners with options of seafood, meat, chicken, vegetables, pasta, and fresh desserts. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy hot and cold beverages, including soft drinks, coffee, and tea, making each day on board a comfortable and complete experience for diving enthusiasts.
