We offer an exclusive 11-day diving cruise aboard the “COCOS ISLAND AGGRESSOR” in Cocos Island, Costa Rica, which is a highlight for pelagic sightings. October is an optimal month to explore this amazing destination. Cocos Island, located in the “Golden Triangle”, 532 km from the mainland, attracts schools of hammerhead sharks and other species such as whitetip sharks, tiger sharks, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, blacktip sharks, silver sharks, and occasionally whale sharks thanks to its nutrient-rich currents. In addition, there are various types of rays, humpback whales, false killer whales, sailfish, tuna, dolphins, and turtles.

Diving in Cocos Island National Park has only one qualification: SPECTACULAR. With more than 25 dive sites, it requires an advanced level with experience in deep and current diving.

Itinerary

ITINERARY

Day 1 (28th October, Saturday)

Meet in front of the Park Inn by Radisson hotel. Transfer to Puntarenas to board the Coco’s Island Aggressor boat and set sail for Cocos Island.

Days 2 and 3 (29th and 30th October)

Arrival at Cocos Island. Start of diving.

Days 4 to 9 (From 31st Oct. to 5th Nov.)

Eat, sleep and dive. This is the philosophy of the boat and we will follow it. During these days we will make between 18 and 21 dives.

Day 10 (6th November, Monday)

Return to Puntarenas.

Day 11 (7th November, Tuesday)

Check-out at 7 a.m. and transfer to San José airport or designated hotels.
End of services provided.

Transfers from the Park Inn by Radisson hotel to the pier.
11 days (10 nights) on the Coco’s Island Aggressor cruise ship in a cabin with full board (in a shared double room).

COCOS ISLAND AGGRESSOR

The Cocos Island Aggressor is a new 38-metre yacht, built and equipped for comfort, safety and stability. It is powered by a diesel engine, cruises at 10 knots and has 110-volt power on board. The comfortable facilities for 22 guests include 4 master cabins located on the upper deck and 7 deluxe cabins located on the lower deck. Each cabin has a private bathroom and shower and a monitor with a multimedia player.

The Cocos Island Aggressor has a spacious lounge, a large sun deck, deck chairs, deck chairs and a refrigerator with a variety of soft drinks, and has large personal lockers for storing diving equipment.

Various evening entertainment options are available on board, including diving presentations, fish identification, films, games and more. If you have a favourite film or digital presentation to share, we encourage you to bring it along. The crew loves it, especially new film releases, recent magazines and books.
