- Sea turtles: You’ll often see green and hawksbill turtles while diving in Akumal or Cozumel reefs.
- Rays: Eagle rays and stingrays are frequently spotted in Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen.
- Tropical fish: Expect to see a variety of colorful fish, including angelfish, parrotfish, and pufferfish.
