The ‘Best of Maldives’ route, also known as the Standard Route or Central Route, takes its name from all it has to offer. These dives are structured, planned and improvised by Maldivian dive guides depending on the current and visibility with their in-depth knowledge of the Maldivian seas.

The trip can start from Male‘ to Ari North and progress to Ari South, Vaavu and back to Male’ or vice versa. Within this specific week you get to truly explore the best of the Maldives, which includes varieties of sharks, rays, fish, coral reefs and wrecks.
Highlights of the trip can be the Manta night, whale shark hunt, BBQ dinner, nurse shark schools and dives at Hulhumale Neru.

Itinerary

ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrival at Male Airport (MLE) and transfer to the cruise ship ‘Sea Pleasure’. Welcome briefing and cabin allocation. Overnight stay on board.

Days 2 to 6

Days dedicated to diving. We’ll be diving at the best sites in the Male, South Male, Ari and Vaavu Atolls.

The most anticipated encounters will be with mantas, nurse sharks, grey sharks, whale sharks, among others.
We will dive in channels in search of sharks, the best ‘thilas’ in the area and several reefs where the explosion of life and colour leaves no one indifferent.

During these days we will also offer an excursion to a local island and a barbecue dinner on a deserted island, among other activities.

Day 7

Our latest dives near Male, where we’ll be trying to dive at Hulumale Jetty, where you can see plenty of stingrays, the occasional guitarfish, and with the chance to spot tiger sharks, bull sharks and giant hammerhead sharks.

Day 8

We disembarked from the ‘Sea Pleasure’ in the morning. Transfer to Malé and the rest of the day at leisure until our flight back to Spain.

End of services provided.

Transfer from MLE Airport to the ‘Sea Pleasure’ boat, then back to MLE Airport.
8 days (7 nights) on the ‘Sea Pleasure’ cruise ship, full board, in shared double cabins.
A package of 17 dives in total.

Life on board

SEA PLEASURE

This 30m luxury yacht built in 2022 is prepared for a life on board with maximum comfort when travelling to the Maldives. It is prepared to accommodate 22 people while maintaining the best comfort for each user.

This is a cruise ship with modern interiors and elegant furniture. It has very spacious lounges and common areas. As for the upper deck, it features a jacuzzi and is partially shaded, ensuring comfort throughout the day. The boat also has three outdoor decks, all fitted with sofas and sun loungers. It offers further amenities, including a library, indoor games, a stereo and a TV.

The food serves European, Asian and local dishes, which can satisfy everyone thanks to their variety and quality.
