The archipelago, bathed by the <strong>Gulf Stream<\/strong>, combines warm and cold waters that attract incredible biodiversity: <strong>24 species of cetaceans, 5 species of sea turtles and more than 600 types of fish,<\/strong> including <strong>mobula rays, manta rays, giant groupers and blue sharks.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The main attractions of diving in the Azores are <strong>encounters with blue sharks,<\/strong> <strong>huge schools of mobula rays<\/strong> and possible sightings of <strong>whale sharks or mako sharks.<\/strong> <strong>Whales, dolphins, shipwrecks and underwater volcanic formations<\/strong> can also be seen. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Beyond the water, the islands offer spectacular landscapes, hiking trails and excursions that complete a unique experience.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><br\/>This is a trip focused on freediving.
