In the late 1980s, after exploring the seven seas aboard the <\/span>Calypso<\/b>, Captain Jacques Cousteau’s ship, he discovered Sipadan almost accidentally and said: <\/span>“I have seen other places like Sipadan 45 years ago, but now no longer. Now we have found an untouched piece of art.”<\/span><\/i> And the fact that National Geographic included it in the book “100 Dives of a Lifetime” speaks volumes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

What makes this island so special are mainly four factors:<\/span><\/p>\n\n
