This time we propose a wild trip. A week of diving in the area of Aliwal Shoal, one of the areas of the planet where we can find more sharks: Oceanic black tips, tigers and the famous raggies, as well as turtles, huge groupers, bottlenose dolphins and even manta rays!
Aliwal Shoal is a reef teeming with many types of hard and soft corals and other marine invertebrates, with a myriad of tropical and subtropical fish species.
But it is not only reef diving that can be enjoyed in this area. Two wrecks can be found near the reef that are very popular all over the world. The Norwegian bulk carrier MV Produce and the SS Nebo.
This wonderful area has all kinds of marine life. But if it is famous for anything, it is for its abundance of grey nurse sharks, known as ragged-tooth sharks or raggies. They can be found between the months of May and December.
