French Polynesia has always been considered an exotic destination accessible only to a select few. Surely, you have dreamed of swimming in its turquoise waters, diving in its canals and reefs full of life and relaxing in the paradisiacal resorts we have seen in photos.

No wonder. Deserted beaches of white or pink sand, coral reefs of spectacular beauty and biodiversity, canals full of sharks, deep green jungles, bungalows on the water, tropical climate…

We offer a trip with an itinerary designed to satisfy the most ambitious divers, without forgetting to offer the best experience out of the water as well. Adrenaline and relaxation go hand in hand on this expedition, along with getting to know the culture, enjoying comfort and much more.

ITINERARY

Day 1 (12 August, Tuesday).

Arrival at Tahiti International Airport (PPT), assistance at the airport and transfer to the Te Moana Hotel.

Day 2 (13 August, Wednesday).

Free day. Both land and sea activities will be offered.

Day 3 (14 August, Thursday).

After breakfast, transfer to the diving center for two dives. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 (15 August, Friday).

After breakfast, transfer to the airport (PPT) for the flight to Rangiroa (RGI). Assistance at the airport and transfer to the Maitai Hotel. We will do two dives this day.

Day 5 (16 August, Saturday).

Day of two morning dives, with the possibility of a third dive. Rest of the day free.

Day 6 (17 August, Sunday).

Free morning. Early afternoon transfer to Rangiroa Airport (RGI) to take a flight to Fakarava (FAV). Assistance at the airport and transfer by boat to the south of the island. Check-in at Motu Aito lodge and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 (18 August, Monday).

Day two diving in Fakarava South with the possibility of a third dive. Rest of the day free.

Day 8 (19 August, Tuesday).

Two-dive day in Fakarava South. We will have lunch on a deserted pink sand island and take a boat ride to the north of Fakarava. Check-in at Havaiki Lodge.

Days 9 and 10 (20 and 21 August).

After breakfast, transfer to the diving center for 2 dives, with the possibility of a third dive. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11 (22 August, Friday).

Free morning. Early afternoon transfer to Fakarava Airport (FAV) for flight to Tahiti (PPT). Assistance at the airport and transfer to the Te Moana Hotel.

Day 12 (23 August, Saturday).

Early in the morning we will take the ferry to Moorea. Transfer to the Cook’s Bay Hotel and 8-hour boat trip in search of humpback whales.

Day 13 (24 August, Sunday).

After breakfast, 8-hour boat trip in search of humpback whales. Transfer by ferry back to Tahiti and transfer to Tahiti airport (PPT) for your return flight.

From the ground

Just as French Polynesia is a paradise destination, its accommodations must also be at the same level. During the trip we will sleep in a total of five hotels, each with its unique and incomparable essence.

HOTEL TE MOANA (TAHITÍ)

Te Moana (‘The Ocean’ in Tahitian) Tahiti Resort is in a prime location that provides easy access to various points in the region. Just 10 minutes from downtown Papeete and the airport.

 

The rooms at Te Moana Tahiti Resort are designed with charming décor and are equipped with every comfort. Each room is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV with cable channels to relax in after an intense day of diving. From these rooms, you can enjoy stunning ocean views, adding a touch of serenity to your experience.

 

Te Moana features two restaurants and bars: one nestled in a green landscape and the other overlooking the ocean. In addition to all these amenities, Te Moana Tahiti Resort features the largest infinity pool in all of French Polynesia. This infinity pool offers a stunning and relaxing view of the surroundings, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the region.

MAITAI RANGIROA

Hotel Maitai Rangiroa is an excellent choice for diving enthusiasts who want to experience a unique experience on the beautiful island of Rangiroa. This charming establishment offers luxurious bungalows with all the comforts in true Polynesian style. Flat-screen TVs, minibars and air conditioning are provided to make guests feel at home after a day of diving. In addition, the hotel has a beautiful swimming pool with sea views.

 

The hotel’s location is ideal for diving enthusiasts, as Rangiroa is renowned for its stunning coral reefs and abundant marine life. Guests have easy access to some of the best diving areas in French Polynesia.

MOTU AITO PARADISE (Fakarava SUR)

At this coastal retreat, each bungalow has been designed to provide visitors with the best experience possible, taking into account the scarce resources of the area. Despite the rudimentary infrastructure found at Fakarava South, Motu Aito Paradise has been equipped with all the basics to ensure comfort.

 

At Motu Aito Paradise you will have the opportunity to live a completely wild experience far from civilization.

 

It is important to note that all the rooms in the hotel have been reserved for the Lluís Masuet Expeditions diving group. This exclusivity ensures that all the facilities and services of the hotel are available to the group of divers, providing them with a completely private, personalized and exceptional experience.

HAVAIKI LODGE (Fakarava NORTE)

Havaiki Lodge is a true haven for diving enthusiasts who wish to enjoy a stay full of kindness and comfort in a heavenly setting.

 

This charming establishment is located in a privileged location, with a total of 15 bungalows designed to provide visitors with a unique and relaxing experience. 10 bungalows are located on the edge of the lagoon and 5 bungalows in the heart of a lush tropical garden providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

 

After an exciting day of diving in the wonderful Polynesian waters, guests can indulge in an unforgettable dining experience. Havaiki Lodge offers homemade cocktails that are the perfect reward to relax and recharge. In addition, its refined cuisine combines the best of local and European fusion, creating dishes that will delight the most demanding palates.

COOK’s BAY (MOOREA)

Located on the picturesque shores of Moorea’s Cook’s Bay, Hotel & Suites Cook’s Bay is an iconic 1980s property that was re-launched in 2023.

 

The hotel features 38 elegantly designed suites spread across five wings, including two spacious family suites. Each suite is equipped with a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge area, kitchenette and a spacious balcony.

 

The hotel’s dining experience is unique at Le Cook’s restaurant and bar, which offers a 180-degree view of the bay and the Pacific Ocean. The restaurant features a warm atmosphere, modern and exotic décor and an open kitchen, serving meals from breakfast to dinner, with a bar menu available until late.

 

For business needs, the hotel provides a modern meeting space, bathed in natural light. Guests can enjoy lunch directly in the meeting room or at the seaside restaurant. The hotel also features a fitness center and a games room for entertainment.
